Honestly, this just goes to show how much government meddling and human overregulation can mess things up—nature does a way better job when we leave it alone. The state created the disaster in the first place, but as soon as people left, wildlife started thriving again. Central planning failed spectacularly, but freedom (even if it’s just the freedom of animals from humans) wins in the end. If only politicians would learn from this and stop thinking they can control every little thing, maybe we'd see more positive outcomes like this elsewhere.
