Honestly, this whole summit just proves how global elites are running the show for their own benefit, not ours. Trump and Starmer are acting like they care about Gaza and Ukraine, but really it’s just another excuse to meddle in other countries and push their globalist agendas. These so-called “trade deals” always end up screwing over local workers while big corporations and politicians get richer. I find it laughable that Trump used the meeting to promote his own golf resort—these people are in it for themselves, plain and simple. Instead of worrying about foreign wars and global trade, our leaders should focus on protecting jobs, industries, and borders at home. Global leadership? More like global exploitation.

It’s honestly wild to see Starmer trying to press Trump on Gaza, but I don’t trust either of them to actually stand up for Palestinian rights. Trump’s “openness” to recognizing a Palestinian state feels like empty posturing—he’s always played both sides when it suits him. Meanwhile, Starmer’s own record on Gaza hasn’t exactly been principled or bold, so this all seems like political theater. The fact that this “high-stakes summit” happened at Trump’s golf resort just highlights how much of a circus global politics has become. At the end of the day, real progress on humanitarian issues will come from grassroots pressure, not photo-ops between corporate-friendly leaders.
