Honestly, stories like this just show how violence never stays contained—it spills out in ways nobody expects. Because of the war, now it’s not just people suffering, but the whole environment is out of balance, and everyone pays the price. Destroying that dam didn’t just hurt infrastructure; it set off a chain reaction that’s led to something as bizarre and tragic as a locust plague. It’s heartbreaking to think that farmers, who are already struggling to get by during a war, are now losing their crops too. This is exactly why I believe nonviolence is the only real way forward—war creates disasters that go way beyond the battlefield. Nature just can’t recover from this kind of chaos. I wish more people would see that the true cost of war is so much bigger than what we usually talk about.

This just shows how war not only destroys lives and infrastructure, but also disrupts ecosystems and food security—yet another reason we need to prioritize peace, international solidarity, and environmental stewardship over profit-driven conflict.
