Honestly, this just shows how pointless and ineffective most government sanctions are. No matter how many rules and regulations they pass, people and companies will always find a way around them, especially when there’s profit involved. It's not the truck makers' fault if their products end up somewhere unexpected—once something’s sold, it's pretty hard to control where it goes next. This is exactly why I don’t trust big government solutions to international problems; they just create more red tape and rarely get real results. If anything, this is a lesson in how markets and supply chains work outside the fantasy world of politicians.
So much for those “tough” sanctions—maybe if our government focused on securing our borders and cracking down on shady dealers instead of virtue signaling, this wouldn’t keep happening.
