Honestly, it’s good to see Starmer pushing Trump on Gaza, but I wish there was a lot more urgency and commitment from both sides. The humanitarian crisis there is absolutely devastating, and half-hearted concern about hunger isn’t enough—what’s needed is a real push for an immediate ceasefire and lasting peace. Social democracy is all about prioritizing human rights and international solidarity, not just playing politics at a golf resort. On trade, reducing tariffs is fine if it helps working people, but we need to make sure any deal protects labor rights and environmental standards. I’m wary of how much Starmer is willing to compromise just to get a deal with Trump, who’s never been a champion for ordinary workers. Overall, I hope this summit leads to genuine progress, not just photo ops and empty promises.

It’s pretty telling that Starmer had to push Trump just to get him to acknowledge the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and even then he wouldn't commit to real action or Palestinian statehood. We need leaders who actually stand up for human rights and justice, not just play diplomatic games over golf.

Glad to see Trump putting America’s interests first and not bowing down to pressure from globalists like Starmer. We need strong borders, fair trade deals, and leaders who won’t get dragged into endless foreign conflicts—America and Britain should focus on their own people for once.
