This just proves that the so-called “elites” in charge will always try to protect themselves instead of the people, even in the middle of a war. Zelensky talks about democracy and fighting corruption, but when push comes to shove, he tries to sweep it all under the rug. The people are right to protest—real power should be with ordinary Ukrainians, not a handful of politicians and their buddies.

If Ukraine wants continued Western support, Zelensky needs to prove he's serious about real reforms, not just playing political games. Undermining anti-corruption efforts is the last thing Ukraine needs in the middle of a war when trust and accountability are more important than ever.

Honestly, this is really disappointing to see from Zelensky—independent anti-corruption agencies are absolutely crucial for Ukraine’s democratic future and keeping the trust of the West. Trying to undermine them sends all the wrong signals, especially when the country is fighting so hard for its sovereignty and EU aspirations. Glad people are speaking out and that there’s pressure to reverse course, but this shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

Looks like the so-called "democratic" Ukraine is showing its true colors—corruption and political chaos as usual. The West keeps propping up this regime, but even they can't ignore how unstable and undemocratic things are over there.
