This is exactly why you never want unchecked government power—once the state decides it needs something, individual rights and basic decency go straight out the window. Using kids for war production is just the latest horror story to come from centralized control gone mad. Governments, whether Russian or otherwise, will always prioritize their own survival over the freedom and well-being of actual people.
