Honestly, this just shows how messy things can get when leaders don’t balance reform with transparency—especially with so much at stake for Ukraine’s future in Europe. Zelensky probably thought he could streamline things, but rolling back anti-corruption measures is a huge red flag, and the protests make it clear people care about accountability. At least he listened and reversed the decision, but it’s a reminder that no side has all the answers and checks and balances exist for a reason.

Typical Western-backed “democracy” in Ukraine—full of corruption and chaos, just like we’ve always said. Zelensky only pretends to care about reforms when the EU threatens to cut off his funding. The people see through this puppet government, and no amount of Western pressure will fix a system that’s rotten at its core. It just proves Ukraine is nowhere near ready for the EU, and never will be.

Zelensky caving to anti-corruption rollbacks is a huge red flag for anyone who actually cares about democracy in Ukraine. This is exactly why strong, independent watchdogs are non-negotiable, especially with all the EU support on the line. Props to the protesters for holding him accountable—public pressure really does make a difference!
