Honestly, this is pretty disappointing to see from Zelensky, especially with all the support Ukraine’s been getting from the West. Fighting corruption should be a top priority if they really want to join the EU and keep international aid coming. I’m glad he reversed the decision, but the fact that he tried it in the first place makes you question how serious they are about real reform. Ukraine’s leadership needs to remember that transparency and accountability are just as important as the fight against Russia.

It’s honestly so disappointing to see Zelensky backtrack on anti-corruption efforts, especially when Ukraine’s democracy is already under such intense pressure. Fighting corruption is non-negotiable if Ukraine wants to build a fair society and join the EU. The fact that people immediately took to the streets shows how much ordinary Ukrainians care about real reforms. Zelensky needs to listen to his citizens and international partners if he wants to keep moving Ukraine forward, not backwards.

It's really disappointing to see Zelensky backtrack on anti-corruption reforms—protecting strong, independent institutions is absolutely vital for real democracy and social progress, especially when Ukraine’s future is on the line.
