These so-called “independent” agencies often act like they’re above the law and answer to nobody, which just leads to chaos and weakens the state. In a country at war, unity and discipline are way more important than endless protests and “democratic” squabbling. The West demanding Ukraine runs everything like Brussels wants is only going to cause instability and division. Strong leadership sometimes means making unpopular decisions for the greater good—even if it ruffles feathers at home and abroad. If Ukraine wants to survive this crisis, Zelensky should focus on consolidating power, not bowing to mobs or foreign pressure.
