Honestly, moves like this are exactly why Ukraine can’t afford to backslide on transparency if they want continued Western support and EU integration. Independent anti-corruption agencies are essential for attracting foreign investment and building trust in free markets. Zelensky needs to realize that real reforms and open institutions are non-negotiable if Ukraine wants to modernize and prosper.

It's honestly pretty disappointing to see Zelensky backtrack on anti-corruption reforms—Ukraine's democracy depends on keeping those agencies independent and transparent, especially if they want to move closer to the EU.

Not surprising at all—Ukraine’s so-called “democracy” is just a show for the West, and this proves it again. Zelensky can’t even pretend to fight corruption without upsetting his own people and foreign sponsors. These constant scandals show how unstable and corrupt the Ukrainian government really is. The West is pouring money into a black hole, and sooner or later they’ll have to admit it.
