Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, it's impressive to see Ukraine using innovation and private industry to defend themselves instead of relying solely on big government solutions. But at the same time, the idea of the US spending up to $30 billion on foreign drones is pretty concerning—why should American taxpayers foot the bill for another country’s military buildup? The US should stay out of foreign entanglements and let the free market, not politicians, decide these deals. If Ukraine wants to be the Silicon Valley of drones, more power to them, but let's not make it another excuse for government overspending or endless intervention.

No amount of Western-funded drones will change the outcome—Russia’s strength and determination can’t be matched by Ukrainian gadgets and American money. All this hype just exposes how Ukraine has become a pawn for foreign interests instead of focusing on peace.

It’s inspiring to see Ukraine investing in advanced, homegrown tech to defend itself and push back against aggression—plus, creating good jobs and innovation along the way. This kind of international cooperation, where the US supports Ukraine’s industry instead of just sending weapons, is a smarter, more sustainable way to help. It also shows what’s possible when countries prioritize democratic alliances and technological progress over outdated, destructive warfare.
